Here are the detailed steps for applying a code or gift card:
1. Applying Discount/Promo Codes
Discount codes (including those redeemed from the Bayou Bucks program) are applied in the final checkout summary area.
During Checkout: Once you have added all items to your cart and proceeded to the checkout page, look on the right side of the page beneath the order summary.
Locate the Field: You will see a link or field labeled "Promo/Gift Certificate" or similar.
Enter Code: Click the link and enter the exact discount or promotional code into the designated field.
Apply: Click "Apply" to deduct the value from your total.
Important Note on Codes: The system is typically configured to only accept one code per transaction. If you have multiple codes or a Bayou Bucks code, choose the one with the highest value for your order.
2. Redeeming Bayou Bucks Rewards
To use your accumulated loyalty points, you must first convert them into a discount code:
Access Rewards: Click the red "Rewards" box located at the bottom right corner of the website. (If you don't see it, try adding a product to your cart, and it should appear).
Redeem Points: Click on "Ways to Redeem" to view your balance and select the desired credit amount (100 Bayou Bucks = $1.00 credit).
Receive Code: Once you select and confirm the redemption, the system will immediately provide you with a unique discount code. Be sure to save this code, as it cannot be recovered.
Apply Code: Proceed to the main checkout and apply this new Bayou Bucks discount code using the method described in Section 1.
3. Applying Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are also applied in the same designated field:
During checkout, enter the Gift Certificate number in the "Promo/Gift Certificate" field located under the order summary.
